Hey, we’re Pete and Ethan.

And we’re building DoryAI to empower education with AI. 

TL,DR: DoryAI is an AI educational tool that enables you to create flashcards, quizzes, and notes from anything. Including YouTube videos, PDFs, Word, and website URLs. Curate your learning material and begin studying natively on the app with AI feedback. Also integrate with other study tools such as Quizlet, Kahoot, and Anki.

We are First-year university students who moved from Vietnam this year. We’re “experts” in shipping quick and being delusional.

🤔 The Problem

Learners spend more time creating study material than actually studying. Educators spend more time on redundant tasks such as lesson plan creation, grading, and reporting. There is an abundance of information out there that has untapped value in the form of review questions and educational material. 

💡 The Solution

• Upload your source (YouTube, PDF, websites, etc.) to generate flashcards and multiple-choice quizzes 

• Start reviewing by flipping flashcards or selecting multiple choice options or typing in your answer to get accurate feedback from AI

• Utilize our documents to take notes for any source, as well as write papers that comes with AI sentence auto-completing, source searching, and citation generation 

• Integrate with your other study tools such as Quizlet, Kahoot, and Anki 

🛠️ How Do We Do It?

• We leverage OpenAI and Claude models to ensure awesome text quality

• We built pipelines to handle various input types from videos to files to links

• We use effective prompts to create effective and subject-specific questions

❓ Why Us?

We’re in the formal education system ourselves and feel a similar pain to those around us. From the start, we’ve believed in building something that “we would use ourselves” and leverage our community to distribute and gain feedback to improve our product.  

Previously, our individual accomplishments include an AI product acquisition and an engineering internship at Vietnam’s first tech unicorn.
